There is nothing that makes me happier than reading that other bloggers have tried my recipes or felt inspired by them to create their own. It is even more thrilling when I realize that I have connected with people from all around the world and somehow contributed to their culinary experience.
On this page I would like to showcase these other bloggers and how these recipes worked for them. Each and every one of them added value to my idea.
So thanks to all of you who experimented with my recipes and mentioned me in their posts and a special thanks to Manu, who came up with the idea of this page in the first place.
If you every feel inspired by anything you see on this blog and make it, be sure to let me know and I will be happy to show your version too (whether you are a blogger or not, don't be shy!).
The recipes are in order of appearance on other blogs.
FENNEL RUBBED PORK TENDERLOIN WITH FIG SAUCE
This was the very first recipe of mine to appear on another blog. I remember the thrill of being mentioned by a blogger, My German Kitchen in the Rockies, that I had been following for quite some time and loving Kirsten's idea of adding roasted figs (and a bone!) to her rendition of my original recipe.
SALLY LUNN BREAD
I was extremely honored when Lorraine from Not Quite Nigella linked back to me when she made her bun version of Sally Lunn bread. Needless to say, my blog views shot up that day. Isn't her picture lovely (and mine awful by the way)?
PASTA WITH RICOTTA AND SUNDRIED TOMATOES
This was a last minute meal we had late one Sunday night after returning from a week end in the mountains. We had bought lots of fresh ricotta and I needed to come up with a quick dish for my ravenous kids. Andrea of From the Bookshelf brought it a step further by adding her own delicious ingredients.
SALMON WITH POMEGRANATE MOLASSES GLAZE AND ROASTED PEACHES
Here is another speedy weekday meal. Manu from Manu's Menu shows us that it can be adapted to any season. If Italian summer peaches are not available in the other hemisphere, there are plenty of other options!
ASIAN PORK TENDERLOIN
Lilla experimented with the ingredients and made two delicious variations of this pork filet recipe. If you want inspiration check out her blog and her beautiful photography.
GLUTEN FREE RICE FLOUR CAKE OR TORTA DI RISO
Sahar recently baked this cake (and posted about it on her blog) for a special person who is on a gluten free-kick. She called it a gem so I guess she liked it!
